PODCAST: London Film Festival 2020 Preview [Movie RobCast]

In episode 101, Robs Wallis & Daniel take a look at the films getting them fired up for the 64th London Film Festival.

Predictably. this year the festival is split between showing films on the BFI Player and certain films screening in cinemas across the country. There are over 50 movies showing, what are the six (three each) the Robs recommend?

They also discuss the opening and closing movies, Steve McQueen’s Mangrove and Francis Lee’s Ammonite(for which Mr. W has since acquired a ticket), while making time for mention of Pixar’s Soul(for which he has not).

The pair take a brief look forward at what films might still be released in the UK this year now that Black Widow and West Side Story have shifted into 2021.
